How long is it since trains have made anything like a “choo-choo” noise? It beats me why we keep on telling small children that trains make that noise.

Waiting for a flight from London City to Edinburgh I plucked up courage to say hi to Pat Nevin. Thanked him for all the time I saw him play at Chelsea. Once we took off he came to sit next to me and we continued the whole flight discussing 80s music and bus services in rural Scotland.
