It wasn't impossible. She had a lot of goodwill built up when she picked Tim Walz, had momentum when Tim spoke and embarrassed republicans by calling them weird. She squandered this by muzzling him and saying she couldn't think of anything she would do differently from Biden.

In those 100 days she squandered any good will and leverage she had to alienate voters so much that more people stayed home instead of voting against an orange fascist. Even if she were a believer in good things, she has god awful political instincts.

But the broader point being made by the meme is that both democrat and republican politicians support american imperialism, even through violence. The people being bombed don't care if the pilot gets reprimanded for saying slurs while drunk, they want to not be bombed for no reason.

This is actually a great answer to the question because that's how lots of leftists feel about supporting israel. And yet, both parties continue to pledge support even during important elections that "could save our democracy!"
