I turn my computer on, go to the internet and I see this ad. It's from eBay. They're selling my book way more expensively than you'd pay on Amazon. And as far as I know, I'm getting nothing from it. Don't buy my books on eBay. Order them on Amazon please. Thank you.

There have been times during long drives when my mind floats. More than a decade ago, I was at work and I ran words through my head. I wrote this as I drove and when I stopped, I scribbled it on the back of an envelope. Eventually, I printed it out and framed it.

It's been an interesting week for The Sports Lunatics Show, our sports history podcast. We had our first listen from Tanzania this week. Someone in St Maarten listened too and a
CFL episode we did recently had listens from the US, the UK and Australia. Our audience is growing!

Any book about a CFL team has to have something by Canada's foremost league insider on it. Thanks to David Naylor for his blurb on the back of my book, An Unlikely Story. Get it on Amazon.

I was invited on to a big Toronto-based podcast and the host asked me for a bio. I just sent it off with this picture. This is my current collection of published items as of the beginning of 2026....more to come later.

Looks like the Hot Tub Time Machine took me back to 1980. Oh well, the sports department at Canadian Tire was always fun. What were the rules about the Firearms Acquisition Certificates again?

It's been brought to my attention that Frampton Comes Alive was released on January 15, 1976. Fifty years ago this week! That album was groundbreaking. Everyone I knew had it. It was the soundtrack to that summer of '76 for so many of us. What are your memories of that album and that summer?

On Friday, I had the chance to have lunch with Kevin Muldoon. It was so awesome to reconnect. We hadn't seen each other in decades but it was like we saw each other last week. Kev had a box of stuff he said he was going to pitch and asked if I would want it. It's all beautiful! Thanks, Kev!!

Watching the SWE-FIN World Juniors semi-final, it's been intense. There were times in that third period when you thought they might want to Viking Death Punch each other. It's 3-3 after 60 mins.
