I recall celebrating a 'snow day' during that season when Stoke got just 17 points. It would have been a Saturday in February 1985 when snow was thick on the ground. Close to my 21st birthday.

I think we can only ask questions based on the situation as it is now.

Plus American and Canadian internationals, I think.
But when they are fit, there's a whole England front row, plus two Curry bros in the Sale Sharks' men's pack, with Ford and Roebuck in the backs.
No Irish players, though.

Do you mean Heywood Rd for the women's games? It's a great old ground, imo. The CorpAcq Stadium is a little underwheming.

Have to say I quite enjoyed it. From a neutral perspective, it is always interesting to hear how dreadful rabid fans of any club sound. Thank goodness at least one contributor said Liverpool FC are no more special to its fans than Peterborough United are to its supporters.

I only watched a bit of it but both ends were completely empty. I would say it would be much more of a spectacle with a reasonably small stadium. I see this when I watch Sale Sharks. Small stadium. Imagine 6,000 at nearby Old Trafford. It would be awful, imo.
