The Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023 came into force on Sunday (6th April), providing employed parents with the day-one right of up to 12 weeks of leave.

A reminder that there are changes to statutory payment rates from 6th April 2025 📢💰

The new rates are:

Statutory sick pay: £118.75

Lower earning limit: £125

Family-friendly statutory payments (shared parental, maternity, paternity, adoption, parental bereavement, and neonatal care): £187.18

New National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates in place from today! 📢

The new rates are:

21 and over (NLW): £12.21
Aged 18-20: £10.00
Under 18: £7.55
Apprentice: £7.55

Please ensure you comply with these new rates by amending employees' wages where necessary.
