A Great Blue Heron standing in the icy Columbia River as the cold wind was blowing its feathers around. They will tuck one leg under their feathers to reduce heat loss from their unfeathered legs and feet.

A Fox Squirrel enjoying its yummy find on a snowy day. The trees were very drippy and I like how it looks as if he/she is using its tail as a little cover. ☺️
