it still has to pass the vote of the EU Parliament around April or May, where things could get tricky. Majority in France Poland oppose it & other parties there too, plus smaller states AUT HUN IRE are against it. Presumably all Putin controlled parties like AfD, Lega etc. will also vote against it

that's why Greenland is facing a similar path as Panama in the Roosevelt corollary to Monroe doctrine, as the canal was built and Panama definitely slipped out of Colombia's control. They don't want Europe in this game (India they can't avoid in it) so it needs to be cut up, as started with Brexit
