Last week, it was announced that I'll be giving the Elizabeth Casson memorial lecture in 2026.
This week, (today!) I was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Derby ☺️

I rarely read OTnews from cover to cover, but the current issue in Black History Month was an exception.
I was struck by Kalimah Ibrahim's article describing the value of cultural humility - 'recognising the limits of one's worldview ... valuing difference and seeking to co-create solutions'.
