The film was a cheap cop out. Repetitive, tense, and a cheap ending. Perhaps the writers couldn’t figure out a proper ending so decided to take the easy way out and not have one. I found it very disappointing.

Subtle or vapid? I found its lack of conclusion to be very disappointing. Exciting, yes, but really a waste of time.

What different light? Was it a mistake or not? Are you saying that Harvard suckered the Trumpers? Your point isn’t clear.

Yes, it’s also “bad news” for anyone who would be shipped out of the US purportedly under the AEA. That’s pretty terrible news that we shouldn’t be glossing over. If such people have no court in which to seek relief they, and we, are screwed. There is no minimizing the seriousness of this decision.

This appears to be worse than Korematsu, because the country isn’t at war and the individuals can therefore be anyone from anywhere. Racism is only one possible motivation here, and there is no limit to what action can be without recourse.

There is nowhere to file. That’s the bottom line to this type of act. No legal constraint of any kind.

The Court seems to be saying there is no recourse in such a case. It’s too late. Tough.

All the Administration has to do is choose the district in which to hold them…or move them from place to place to deny them a forum…or ship them off without a habeas ruling in time. I don’t think assuming habeas petitions can be made in time will solve this problem.

I’ve been very disappointed in the entire season. It’s boring and incoherent, while basically static from one episode to another. I’m only sticking with it because I’ve read a lot of Hugh Howey’s books. There’s really no point to a third season. A huge disappointment.

Actually, it’s a Hebrew word brought into Yiddish and pronounced in an Ashkenazi fashion.
