It might be a little chilly out today. Even with -21°F, everyone made it to work safely. These two brave souls volunteered to work outside.

Mmmm, lunch is delivered!! Well, it could have been someone's lunch a few days ago but is out of date or damaged beyond use. We give it a second life as compost through our food waste recycling program with different businesses in our community.

Weatherman is calling for a good snowstorm today so we are taking pictures to see how fast it accumulates or how fast we get disappointed.

Our bulk bins are pretty full in anticipation for spring. Weatherman is calling for 3-8 inches of snow tomorrow. Standby for a 24 hr after picture.

Feels like 1°F? Perfect time to go for a stroll amongst the compost rows.
My hands are cold and it took 20 minutes to thaw then enough to finish this post.

I was curious what the temp of the windrows were but ended up bailing before the temp was done.

Sure wish the fall colors stuck around longer than a week. Everything is so gloomy now.
