Greens unanimously voted for Trans healthcare reform whilst YP risk abandoning trans people 🏳️‍⚧️

Greens are already one member one vote, so anything you don’t like you can vote to change 🗳️

Six years ago, consistently polling around 2%. Now, above 10%.

Green councillors leapt from fewer than 200 to nearly 900.

Turns out @libdems.org.uk only have 60k members, not 83k, so I updated their Wikipedia page for them (to save them the effort 👼 )

that’s unless @eddavey.libdems.org.uk thinks Your Party’s 800k strong mailing list counts as 800k members?

A Green government would proscribe the Israel Defense Forces as a terrorist organisation.

The forces currently actioning war crimes and genocide upon the people of Gaza on behalf of the Israeli government.

83k came from the BBC mistakenly conflating “supporters” with members!

That’s like saying Your Party has 800k members.

the “abolish landlords” motion means Greens will:

1) bring in rent controls and abolish right to buy

2) mass produce council housing with a state run manufacturer

3) land value tax on landlords, double tax an empty properties

4) end buy to let mortgages

5) give councils the right to buy back

IMO Greens atm are fully democratic, just passed a policy to abolish landlords amongst a plethora of leftist policies, are unified and have amazing messaging

Yeah my first ever vote as a citizen was joining the Labour Party at 17 to vote corbyn as leader but his time is done IMO.

He is a brilliant local MP and has all the right policies but he’s terrible at politics. Particularly disappointed at how he acted in Your Party.

Still like him as a human!

Interestingly your party seems to be at about 45k members or so… the middle with the double portals then Corbyn becoming sole leader has really stymied the growth

NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.
