Thanks for the correction! I admit I haven't watched in a while, but I did check before posting and their current "getting started" playlist didn't have faces/credits, so I assumed that's how it was still going.

GW loves to minimize the reputations of their employees. A few years ago, some GW pro painters became quite popular and left the company to create their own channels and brands. Now GW has a policy to not show names/faces in their painting tutorial vids.

This policy dates back a few editions to when one of their designers/writers was accused by the fanbase of playing favorites with the factions and making certain books OP.

GW used their toxic fanbase as an excuse to do what they really wanted- not credit their designers.
