Exactly. Verbal assurances don’t mean much without consistent action. Other countries have to protect themselves based on behavior, not rhetoric.

It’s hard not to feel discouraged, but history shows things can swing back when people stay informed and involved. It just takes time and persistence.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly the playbook bleed people dry financially and hope they give up. It’s disturbing how normalized this has become.
