Within the first few pages it becomes apparent that Bovino approached this deposition with the same smug confidence that he’s had during Midway Blitz: believing he’s in control, he can do whatever he wants, and everyone else is a piece of shit.

What seems like a thousand years ago, I myself was a cop. If I had a district judge calling me a liar from the bench, I would have literally collapsed into myself in shame so quickly, it would have formed a black hole right there in the courtroom.

I’m a photojournalist, and was tackled by CBP agents at Broadview while covering protests last month, despite being very clearly identified as a member of the press.
I came face to face with Bovino, and reading this fills me with an incandescent rage; I never saw a single person be violent there.
