I can't tell if it's due to photos being distorted to absolute shit by AI or not but I would swear that as Jimmy Donaldson gets older, he more and more starts to look like Larry Ellison.

Huh. Literally all of my frustrations got fixed in one go by just switching to a local account on Windows.
I thought they were supposedly getting rid of those? Is it literally **only** during setup that they force it?

Haven't had anyone to play games together with in like 5 years. It's far from my biggest problem but it does weigh on me every day that something as basic as having someone to play with is just ...... off the table.

Space Engineers desperately needs weapon groups...
I don't want every weapon of the same type to fire all at once, and currently the only way to make that happen is by triggering the "shoot once" action from the hotbar, which very obviously sucks.

Started replaying Beyond Citadel and felt really annoyed by the inverse difficulty curve. It's genuinely a flaw of game design for things to get easier as you progress. Things don't **have** to get harder, constant difficulty is fine, but decreasing is frustrating.

I just saw someone compare AI to radium in that when it was ""discovered"" they just put it in absolutely everything and then went pikachu face when it gave everyone cancer.

Credit where it's due, I deliberately tried to break Space Engineers, and it caught on to what I tried to do, and didn't break. As much as my earlier experiences tainted my view of it, they genuinely fixed a lot of shit since then. It still has some jank but not seeing any game-breaking stuff.

Tried making a large-grid warship. This is literally the smallest possible design I could come up with. It has only one single weapon, and is over twice the weight of my small-grid warship with way, way more armament, and has the same delta-V and twice the fuel usage.
