As a fan of Jack Smith, I hope more details come out showing just how great he was. Much of what he did was not public. Jack took a lot of heat from the left, and it was undeserved. I get a feeling we're going to see just how brilliant he is/was.

The reason why Trump can’t simply say “no” when asked if he will pardon Ghislaine Maxwell is he needs her to continue to cover for him. Giving her hope for a pardon guarantees she will keep her mouth shut about what she knows.

He, conceivably, does not have leverage over Epstein's estate though. Imagine if he pardon's her and then the estate dumps everything. I'm sure he has something in the works to leverage the estate. Time will tell. Will the estate turn over more evidence to congress like the birthday book?

The OP didn't say all. The statement is 1000% true. I think "a lot" is a bit generous, actually. I'd wager its the vast majority. If there is/was any unifying & singular theme that was not diverse of libertarians it's that individual liberty is not to be compromised ever. Curious now, indeed.

I'm not so sure Maxwell had anything to do with that or has any say as to what will and won't get released to the congressional committee.

I'm not sure Maxwell has the leverage here. I think the Epstein estate has it and Maxwell is trying to cut them off before the pass but ultimately, I expect the estate to have the upper hand and won't let Epstein's legacy go down in history alone. The release of the birthday book was critical.
