This is actually a crosssection of multiple issues: Not just a lack of imagination, but also grifterism. The guy who makes an ai comic is most likely not just unimaginative but also only in it for the (very unlikely, because let's be real here, lol) money.

The game doesn't look particularly interesting either, it's 1 to 1 genshin impact mechanics and gamefeel under "shiny" ue5 graphics. Not very impressive from a company that pushed gacha into the mainstream.
