Sure, I’m not arguing that Photoshop is only positive. But most people could see it had clear utility from day one, which is absolutely not the case with AI.

Yes, he is - Photoshop didn’t need to be shoved into everything and marketed continuously to convince people it was worth using. It was released, people caught on and integrated it into workflow. Many creatives now are having to be forced by their managers to use GenAI without any obvious benefit.

They’re different in that that generative AI adds basically 0 value to anyone’s life, whereas the broader Internet does.

Yeah that except is definitely agreeing with what you’re saying (which is also the majority position among trans people!) Maybe they’re misinterpreting the first sentence as trying to draw a line between transgender and transsexual? (It’s not doing that it’s just defining both as trans!)

Code switching isn’t exclusive to oppressed minorities like they seem to be implying, everyone does it all the time. This is absolutely an example of it. Like, you talk to your parents differently than your friends, differently than your coworkers. That’s all it is.

I just turned 30 and I’m 6 months into HRT - it’s slow going for sure but there are tons of us at this age! My biggest bit of advice to beat the despair is to make as many trans friends as possible - you’ll see that there’s so much hope. And if you ever need a friend, feel free to DM me :)

That’s fair and I love my physical media as well. But with retro game prices spiking the last few years, it’s been a nice way to play games without breaking the bank. And honestly you don’t need something that powerful, most computers nowadays can run emulators for games from before 2000 or so.

Emulation is still extremely easy, morally fine at this point, and costs nothing! Obviously it’s not exactly the same as a physical console but still it’s a joy to relive those old memories!
