We invested some of our pension in some solar panels, a home battery and changed to an EV, which we can fill for under £3 on cheap overnight charging. Our monthly outgoings dropped significantly so we saved for an ASHP, which is cheaper than gas. Environmentally and economically beneficial 🤷‍♂️

We have a small solar array, a battery, and EV and ASHP, in a solid wall 1930’s bungalow. Our monthly bills have reduced significantly, if you an invest in renewables it makes both environmental and economic sense 🤷‍♂️

I just listened to @quietriotpod.bsky.social with @annettedittert.bsky.social great content and perhaps an opportunity to understand the goings on in Europe that we are working through from a Europe perspective, perhaps it could be a regular feature ?

IMO NF has been able to dictate the narrative for too long, good to see Lib Dem’s, Green’s and now the Government calling him out and his divisiveness 👍

How about highlighting some people powered local groups who are helping organise retrofit and renewables across communities like loco home coop in Glasgow, future proof Cumbria, Sustainable St Albans, Green Heat coop north Herts ?

I have also noticed this on GMB and they flipped the PM’s announcement to talk about NF, so I turned it off this morning, as there is so much more that is news worthy 🤷‍♂️

Feels like the PM also mentioned this in blaming NF for the chaos of Brexit, with the LD and Greens pushing this subject it makes sense to move in that direction 🙏

Alternatively the Greens, Lib Dem’s and now Labour( well Andy B) have called out Brexit as the reason for the increased immigration. Has NF launched a pre emptive attack blaming BJ for the wrong type of Brexit ? 🤷‍♂️
