RIP Donald Shoup, a fellow Bruin. I must have been at UCLA when I first heard of some of his work—ideas which began a long through line in my life, from embracing city living to working on commuting software for many years.

To better my mental health, I’m going to try to use lists more with Bluesky so my Following list isn’t a constant barrage of Trump-did-what-now stories to worsen my day. I appreciate those covering this stuff but it can’t be all I read 🙇♂️

A lot of the accounts on my soccer specific Twitter list (Premier League, Liverpool, and USMNT focused) are moving over here so getting “hitting critical mass” vibes that never came about with Mastodon.
