With the right beans and grind, while it's not true espresso the humble Moka pot is the best economical option for home imo. 75% of Italians can't be wrong. Also:

Empiricism is subordinate to our larger lib pretension: that we actually live our stated values. To those who live by some "natural" moral or social hierarchy, by choice or perforce, this consistency is impossible and so of course we seem like bloodless, insufferable scolds to them. JSM had it:
