Ok but I am not a troll. I am a long term cd2 resident who has volunteered my precious time for progressive dem campaigns. I would genuinely like to see evidence that platner is who he says he is. I worry we progressives are getting fooled by him and would like to be proven wrong.

Platner has said lots of great stuff, but seriously, what has he done? What job experience proves his loyalty to prog. causes? What voting record? You know, he voted for collins many times. I am asking you this q in good faith

Our world, both Christian and not, expects women to take up very little space, the less the better. From a young age I saw multiple obey this commandment more and more--until they died from it. It is destructive bullshit

My church does the same kind of work, free meals, homeless shelter support, food pantry, free clothes--while also fully supporting lgbtq+ folks, who include our pastor

This is a problem because mammograms have super high rates of false positives so they cause tremendous stress. Also are the best tool we currently have to save lives from bc. I guess the idea that they are trying to be fast is really good to at least reduce the time of dread

I mean Bernie felt the need to come and shit in maine when actually there are so many good dems, progressives even. Shenna, troy, nirav, hannah, dunlap. I would love to see 3 of these in the 3 top seats available in 26. Tho I am perfectly fine with janet being the superhero who saves us from suz

Same in underfunded higher ed, plus -work all summer for 0 pay, buy some of own office and lab equipment, give cash to grad students for supplies/conference travel, buy calculator for indigent student, etc etc

Yes. And some have no choice but to come here to see family or other essential purposes, makes these actions even worse

After seeing my kid suffer w covid even after getting all possible vaccines, I cannot for the life of me understand why parents won't get every possible vaccine for their kids. It may very well have saved her life!

Awful. The ones I've had to teach in college even the brilliant ones, are socially stunted. Have internalized they are "too good" for public school but still have to face the reality that, if they are not independently wealthy, they're going to need to deal with "the public" aka other humans

In my experience with highly educated people who absolutely should know better, it is hubris. They truly believe they are superior specimens of humanity who will have zero trouble fighting off the illness, probably won't even get sick
