Hi there. I like helping others. Thank you for enjoying my small but great book on life. https://amzn.to/4eJ378L
funny indeed. you would need to change the definition of the word tolerant in order to make it fit though. Because being tolerant by definition is being open / willing regardless of their opinions. See: Jesus. Buddah. Akbar. John Locke etc. it’s not really a paradox, it’s a different word.

Help me understand your logic. Let’s say I am a sea lion. Are you saying that you’re not accepting of certain animals? :) seems like bigotry lol

lol

It was funny :) And I appreciate the accusation, the difference between me and the sea lion is I have spent a lot of time working in a research lab at a UC and do open dialogue discussions about complex topics to help create generative conversations advancing people’s understanding of the topic

But overall it is a safe sport in the sense that you do not enter into it nowadays fearing long term damage that is irreversible.

Unless… there is a significant difference in strength, aggression levels, and skill, possibly some other factors. How MMA used to be before it created modern rules

Returning back to your original question as well, of severely injured, the stats are very low simply because mma is one of the safest sports in general due to all of the rules. Like most sports it has injuries such as knee injuries, and it involves striking and grappling which leave bruises and cuts

… even at the highest skill level of women and matched weight.

So then we can ask, why would cis women born as women say or believe that? Especially if they are very competitive and advocating for equal rights?
November 24, 2024 at 4:51 AM
If we look only and the two categories of skill level and weight, there has been open discussion between men and women about having them compete together, against each other, and women time and time again have said it simply is not equal for them to compete…

Mixed martial in particular is grouped into categories based primarily on 3 things, although if we excluded gender it would be 2. 1. Skill level (huge difference between the minor leagues and the majors). And 2. Weight class. The third would be gender but we are taking that out of the discussion.
November 24, 2024 at 4:49 AM
We would need to define a few things to have a fair discussion. we need to define “severely injured,” because that’s relative especially in a combat sport. For example being knocked out is much less common for women than in the men’s divisions of MMA, although it is bridging closer. Also…

I like that question. And it makes sense to ask. To get an accurate response we would need to compare equal sample sizes, the same number of cis women versus women fights to the same number of trans women versus cis women fights. The data set is very small for the trans women fighters, but we can!

Wow!! Is this real?! Cool.

I like the idea that “anybody who completely agrees / sides with a political party, is not a clear thinker.” We really actually need an evolution of our political system towards meritocracy in my opinion. Everything else is evolving except for our two party system

I’m being sincere. I’ve tried a few different search engines and didn’t see anything that actually aligns with fascism last time he was president, so I’m legitimately looking for facts. Fascism is extremely scary and has killed millions of people in the last, the same way communism has.

Here’s a really great company that’s trying to do research and help us all get a clearer picture though - womeninsport.org/transgender-...
