Dang Dinh Bach has been jailed since 2021 for defending communities against environmental harm. Yesterday, we awarded him the 2024 Roger N. Baldwin Medal of Liberty. His work should be celebrated, not criminalized. We call on Vietnam to release him immediately.

ICE blocked @repsummerlee.bsky.social & our Senior Counsel from entering the #Moshannon Valley detention center last week, despite reports of human rights abuses inside. Congress has clear authority to inspect these facilities, and we demand that ICE maintain transparency and accountability.
