Our beloved old greyhound Bear used to pretend he was gonna tumble us. He'd run flat out towards us and then swerve suddenly at the last second. Best fakeys ever. He was a smart and cheeky hound. Greys can be much smarter than folks think.

We have a whippet that was rehomed to us from his 98 year old mum and Ziggy Stardog, 12 year old greyhound rescue. Both extremely sweet and pointy.

Quilt coat. Sleeves worked out well. The jacket fits me. Phew. Gotta figure out buttons or something for the front and what to do at the bottom of the jacket. Stoked so far though. Needs pockets

Op shop score. Two huge colourful Ikea pillowcases for $1 to support my quilting habit. I'll probably make some pants with them though. One pillowcase makes one pair of shorts and these are extra large pieces of fabric. A friend who loves these colours will berate me for cutting them up though!

Finished small quilt. 125x85 cm. Recycled and gifted materials. Backing is purple velvet which misbehaved and is way too stretchy and floppy. Used a square and rectangle quilting method. #quiltsky

I lived here when I was little. It wasn't quite this garish when we were there. It had become run down. My dad fixed it back up and spent hours mowing the grass. I'd hide in the bamboo patch and spent a lot of time in a tree at the far end of the garden. It was great but my mum was unhappy mostly
