im just confused what role frodo could even have in this because gandalf canonically fucked off onto a 17 year long research- and gollumhunting trip right after bilbo's birthday, and all the plot relevant footage already exists for that in the fellowship of the ring

the leaves and seed pods look really similar to those of a black locust tree even though im pretty sure they are not closely related at all, that's so interesting! (also the art itself is beautiful as usual)
