When I/he was younger, I did not like Ethan Hawke very much as an actor. But man, I have come to really appreciate his performances, how he works, and what he chooses to work on.

I went to Japan about 30 years ago for work. The guy who met me at the airport told me to leave my luggage in some random spot while we grabbed a bite to eat or something. I was concerned but he was like, "This is JAPAN. No one is going to mess with or take your stuff."

And he was right.

I love those kids...and you use them VERY well. Maybe my favorite discovery when researching for the book. (I hadn't read any mainstream comics in a couple of years when I got the gig.)

We're developing an animated series for a pretty big client -- but my part is pretty much done. The pitch deck and the pilot are both written.

I'm also at a lull in my graphic novel project, LOVE YOU TO DEATH.

Coughing, but not from my chest. From my throat and it's infrequent.

I just want to sleep but I'm also wide awake.

Tested negative for COVID but I have something gnarly. I've had SOMETHING in my throat all day -- feels like phlegm but I don't know. Then came the aches and the throbbing -- I could feel it in my teeth. Now the aches are gone but my nose is starting to run and whatever's in my throat is acting up.
