Things I have had to advise/suggest to people (no one I work with directly) today who must earn almost double my salary: putting a signature field in a document, and putting an out-of-office message on if they're going away.

Had a brief, insane idea that I could have a mini-break to Berlin during my few days between jobs in 3 weeks' time, but I absolutely can't justify spending the money.

Might go to Lancaster. Less debauched, but cheaper.

The kid (7) loves orchestras/classical music, but there's VERY little family/kid-related live stuff- the LSO one is almost sold out for June already, so are the few other things I found. I've Googled the most obvious ones, are there any I'm missing? She's desperate to see a live orchestra, any size.

Love to spend the majority of my notice period continually asking Estates when the promised heating is actually going to come on.

(I'm not being a wuss, we work in a massive, Grade 2 listed building that's 200 years old and it's CHILLY and I'm FED UP.)

Not saying the UK appeals court is in fine shape in the slightest, but I can see why there's a judgement of 'giving leave to appeal' or not here because when you read about this retrial, there doesn't seem to be any new evidence and he mostly seems to be doing it for his own gratification.
