deltarune chapters 3 and 4 are meant to have simultaneous PC and console releases, so the Switch release should be the same day as the PC version release

Does the file named 'filech1_5' exist in your Deltarune save directory? If so, then nothing's broken, because that's the completion file for slot 3. Deleting a save file does not delete its corresponding completion file, so you probably completed chapter 1 in slot 3 then deleted the save.
