Is it officially too damn cold? I think we're reaching the point where it should be.

OK, I shall admit this - it wasn't until this year's Wallace and Gromit that I realised Yorkshire and Lancashire are next to each other.

The War of the Roses makes a lot more sense now...

A little warning for those in the #podcast world that want to avoid the scourge that is BetterHelp - they're currently trying to sneak ads in under "Health and Beauty" ad categories in major ad providers. Make sure you've got that category blocked off!

Does anyone else just find the Bluesky night mode loading screen just really, really pretty?

The sole downside of moving to a new, less infested platform - the "switch account" button is in a completely different place, so I keep nearly posting random thoughts to my business' page...

There is no dread that can humanly compare to the dread of "it's 3am, I have to be up at 8, why can't I sleep, why can't I sleep, whycantisleep".

You ever have those moments where you discover a song, and just listen to nothing else for a day or so?

I'm currently on my 8th loop of Automatic by the Pointer Sisters...

There is something fitting about it being this cold on Black Friday - you freeze your nuts off whilst companies try to grift your face off?

The fun part of running a nerdy podcast business - discovered new awesome podcasts about things you'd never expect people to podcast about.

The part you didn't expect - the surprising number of those podcasts where the word "Christianity" appears out of nowhere in the description.

I have hit the greatest winter conundrum - my big duvet is so very cosy, but it's also far too hot...

Your thought for today - are auto mechanics vets, but for cars?

OK, I didn't expect to be saying this, but here it is:

Wicked Part 1 justifies a 2h45m runtime far better than Avengers: Endgame ever could.

Seeing the "getting started" wheel slowly tick towards completion is far too satisfying for my own good, I will admit...

A followup to my previous thought, on a more sombre note - what happens when a frog can no longer be Kermit? When the years of performing have taken their toll, and it's time for another frog to take on the burden of Kermiting?

I announce my arrival with this thought:

Whilst there can only be one "Kermit the Frog", for logistics' sake there must be several frogs that can BECOME Kermit if needed.

In my head these are stored in a vault of cryogenically frozen frogs, waiting to be imbued with the essence of Kermitry.
