Unfortunately this publicly funded hospital has a Catholic board where they impose their narrow religious beliefs on people in need of healthcare. They deem IVF immoral. Women's reproductive healthcare immoral. Shame on the BC NDPs for imposing Catholic rules above the health of BC residents.

Cardinal Michael Czerny does not support women being ordained as priests. He is against that.

Esplanade is great. There's a long, long way to go in the city of North Vancouver & on the North shore. Especially with the juxtaposition of the city of Vancouver next door, whose cycling infrastructure by comparison is far more comprehensive.

Good question. The churches already get large tax breaks that the rest of us need to support. Some have large real estate holdings. Maybe it was too hot in the pews and the parks were cooler ?
