I think a major purpose of the tragedy is for the families to face the consequences of their feud by LOOKING at the 5 bodies of dead YOUNG people -- this play completely cut that scene and ended with the prince monologing at the crowd

You should read it!! I did enjoy reading it but felt like the resolution did not align with the tone of the novel. The first 60% is incredible but it created a story in my head that was ultimately unfulfilled

(jumps out of bed) the MOST silly scene was the monster revisiting a tower that BURNED DOWN and picks up pieces of paper that perfectly preserves Victor's notes. How convenient!

bus thoughts on the Frankenstein movie

I'll have to think about this deeper when I'm in front of a journal -- I think it's inappropriate to turn Frankenstein into a story about forgiveness and fatherhood! the final scene is entirely underserved by both Victor and the movie
