also the fact i already knew the ending which makes reading the first part and seeing how gregor loves his family an absolutely miserable experience ugh

there’s smth very tasty about the pipeline of seonghwa yelling at yunho to stand up and do what he has to (finds him incompetent) → growing increasingly wary of yunho but is unfortunately still concern about him… your puppy mentee turns out to be a wolf but you can’t just. drop him for no reason

that eventually dies down tho. being reminded of his capability for brutality thereafter makes him more nauseous than the actual results of his actions do…

really. like the idea of seonghwa having violence trained into him to hell and back as a circumstantial necessity that it hardens him into a state of perpetual indifference while yunho is still queasy but once he manages to start (rare), the adrenaline kicks in and he becomes an absolute monster
