Last night on the frontline,
while everything else held its breath, a tiny hedgehog came to say hello.
No fear, no noise.
Just life, insisting on being alive.

Eva just walked out… then came back with a kitten.
Then another. And another.
Four tiny kittens later, our room is now her nursery.
She chose us to protect them, and we’re not letting her down.

Eva came out of nowhere, like most good things in war.
We fed her once and she decided to join our team.
Now she lives with us on the frontline,
curled up in our room like she’s always belonged.
