i rarely take photos of myself and even more rarely they end up anywhere except for the once a year or two update that i’m still alive and existing in actual physical form. i found this particular photo to be quite alright, but didn’t end up posting it because of the obvious glare in the glasses. the photo depicts a selfie of yours truly lying down.

i love indie horror games, and was very excited to see Exit 8 get a movie adaptation. i went to see it last night and it was absolutely amazing! a perfectly executed adaptation and gave such great plot to an essentially plotless game! i highly recommend seeing it if you are into indie games 💯

it was a rainy day so not a lot of the inhabitants at the zoo were active, but the wolverine kept jogging about it’s enclosure to see all the people (while it’s roommate chilled in the background)

a zoo close-ish to where i live and where i’ve visited since i was little was open today for the last time, so i had to pay it a visit. it has been open for over 50 years and i hope they find someone to take over for the zoo so the animals wouldn’t have to be relocated 💙

saw @stephenking.bsky.social ’s The Long Walk yesterday. a great adaptation, conveyed the book extremely well. the changes and additions made were perfectly done. the dread came through hauntingly well. astonishing cast and @markhamillofficial.bsky.social gave so much character to the Major.

being brutally honest, i’m an extremely depressed and anxious person. but sometimes i get to have moments where i feel calm and can appreciate little beautiful things without the numbness. like when i realised what a cozy home i’ve made. i’m glad i still get those glimmers of feeling better.
