I have spent the last few days in the Côte d’Ivoire working with the maritime community. Among other issues, we have all recognized the intense need for a dedicated hydrographic program of education for both French and English speakers in the region. The robust maritime community here deserves it!

This is a big day for the IHO! We just issued a circular letter announcing the adoption of operational editions of S-100 Phase 1 Specifications - S-101, S-102, S-104, S-111, and S-129. This sets the stage for official S-100 production.

The IHO Annual Report from 1925 shows the IHO with 22 Member States. 100 year later, we now have 100 Member States!
