Roughly N-S yes, but the small print on the dunes does not look like dunes + it also crosses the E-W trend at several locations. Perhaps more importantly, the small ridges pretty much follow the contours everywhere, but at a slight angle: ancient agriculture/irrigation systems.

Weldoeners gezocht die nog geen 4 miljoen euro willen investeren in behoud van dit stuk natuur/agrarisch gebied aan de noordkust van Curaçao om te voorkomen dat ook dit stuk Curaçao kapot ‘ontwikkeld’ wordt. Zie Antilliaans Dagblad vandaag voor de rest van het verhaal.
