I made a tool to find optimal #MarioKartWorld builds. Pick a combo, choose your most important stats, and see if others outclass it! This tool is inspired by a similar tool by Bayesic from Mario Kart 8. #MarioKart

Each kart and character has their own (semi)-unique set of values deeper than the in-game stat screen leads you to believe. For example, the Fin Twin outspeeds the Baby Blooper on Water! However, Water is much less common than other terrain types, excluding water-based vehicles from the meta of Random maps. By picking the Tune Thumper, you'd gain Road Speed and Acceleration over the Fin Twin. If these are the most valuable stats, a Fin Twin combo will ALWAYS be outclassed by the Tune Thumper wiith the same character. Use this tool to select your build, the 2 stats you value the most, and see if you're secretly being outclassed--either way, the tool will provide other potential options (e.g. characters with a bit more of Stat 1 but a bit less of Stat 2).

Question for #glc players:
How do you feel about the Singleton rule?
Prizing important pieces feels bad, but would the format lose charm from being able to run 2 of each card? Or would the decks just split into better defined archetypes per Type (e.g. "Machamp" and "Hitmon", rather than together)?

Highlight of the event was using Fezandipiti to snipe Croconaw before they could evolve, then using Turo to put its Energy in discard for Gholdengo when they used Cape.

I think Victini was #0 in the Unova dex because they felt it was more appropriate for the fully-evolved Emboar to be #500 in the NatDex than Oshawott.

New video! Gholdengo ex has several new post-rotation variants. I cover their merits, framed against a burning question: can it deal with Cornerstone Ogerpon ex? Gholdengo is already self-sufficient, so anything else needs to address its biggest counter. #PokemonTCG

Went 3-0 at my Journey Together prerelease! Got the Lillie & Hop Kits. Pulled no Cram, but a 3rd Corvisquire and 2nd Brock's Scouting got me consistently up and running. Had Accelgor as a secondary, but it never came up. MVP to Tropius and Swinub for early-game setup.
