I remember when the mysterious construct was first revealed I groaned because I immediately was like “of course they found a way to insert Link here”.

I was completely wrong. I love the character and the lore implications surrounding it.

Like some of this feels like it could’ve been explored in proper dlc for TotK 😭

Oh for sure. I think I like them as a cog to the machine. In that it’s nice seeing nobodies come to the front to help. The united fronts of Hyrule are nice to see in this.

I think after this I don’t want another HW. There’s a lot about Zelda that these games can’t really capture.

It sorta sucks that I like a good bit of these characters because they rogue one them I’m sure. But I kinda prefer them over fan service stuff.

100%. It’s this united mission across Hyrule that feels really good. And even the additional lore bits added here have pushed the fold on some things I’ve wanted to see for awhile and it feels like it’s handled with care.

Also it’s just so nice to be able to play this handheld and not really lose a lot of the visuals. Something I could barely say about age of calamity.
