I am unbothered by this. If I find something obscure and I want other people to know about it, I simply share it with them.

I regularly engage with media that is both brand new and not only older than me, but older than my parents and their parents. I find that gives me a huge range of things to enjoy and inspire me for as long as I live.

It sometimes gets funny if it's something from the past 30 years and I enjoy it because people will assume if I enjoyed it it was something from my childhood, despite my outward distaste for nostalgia culture.

I played Luigi's Mansion for the first time ever this year and loved it lol
