The issue is not Kickstart. First there needs to be some kind of Uboot compatible "bios". Uboot loads an Amigaloader program that then loads the Kickstart modules off disk.
Both Uboot and Amigaloader can be ported to other PPC hardware. If the ressources are there.

The first beta will most likely be ready in the autumn. A finished release is, at the earliest, ready next year.
