This feels more like a soulsborne type game than first person rpg in my opinion. Though that probably is because of the setting painting my conceptions.

imagine if there was a clown in the Phazon Mines. just a single human clown, named Butterpoop. he sings birthday songs that echo throughout the cold metal labs. he's only in the game for 10 minutes though.

The problem is not that there's a tutorial NPC that talks. The problem is that it's an obnoxious, tone destroying NPC that talks like they're from Forspoken or Borderlands.
