What pattern are you talking about? The left being suspicious of stalking horses? Which of those areas had democrats talking up a centrist approach and then going hard left on actual implementation.

I would think its fairly easy to understand... historically democrats talking about this specifically has translated to funding increase with no training outcomes. Being dubious of the assumption its being done in the correct direction is a natural outcome of historic demicrat patterns.

Okay then yeah. My completely untested gut theory is that covid, by being a largely universal experience, generated a small set of conspiracies that were universily picked up by those who already had a conspiracy mindset. This gave them a central pillar to organise around. 1/2

By consistant do you mean number of people believing conspiracies or types of conspiracies? Because my gut instinct is theres been a unification of conspiracy beliefs around a few specfic ones that renders them more of a cohesive voting block.

Mamdani is the face of a highly developed and focused campaigning system of staffers and volunteers. He does not exist in a vacuum and, while he himself is attractive and charismatic, he is not particularly new or unique.
