We need this on the NHS to reduce the need for OP #hysteroscopy procedures that are often severely painful leaving many traumatised. @RCObsGyn

For many of us, over the counter pain relief is as effective as chocolate when it comes to managing hysteroscopy pain. A full range of pain-relief MUST be available to ensure better outcomes for patients

The care that @RCObsGyn
states we should receive is very different from the treatment thousands if us DO get. This gap needs to close to ensure better outcomes for #hysteroscopy patients.

Noone should be left traumatised following a routine procedure. #hysteroscopy patients MUST be warned about the risk of severe pain & and offered adequate pain relief. #TreatmentNotTrauma

Please read the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists new patient information if you are due an outpatient hysteroscopy to ensure you receive the standard of care you deserve. Don't let hospitals gaslight you into substandard treatment.

Gaslighting patients into potentially painful procedures with little or no pain-relief is no joke. Join us on Facebook to help challenge this archaic practice.

We shouldn't have to be detectives to find the information we need to make informed decisions about our care. Patient information leaflets and staff should warn about the risk of severe pain and offer adequate pain-relief during outpatient hysteroscopy procedures.

#Gynaecologists would you allow your loved ones to endure inhumane, no pain-relief #hysteroscopy procedures? I'm sure you'd ensure they were forewarned. We all deserve access to adequate pain-relief. It is a human right! This 👇works both ways. #TreatmentNotTrauma

#Gynaecologists #doctors #nurses working in OP #hysteroscopy, you know that no pain-relief procedures are leaving patients with #trauma: speak out and help us right this wrong. @NHS #NHS ##TreatmentNotTrauma

The same applies to medical procedures. If a #woman can't talk during a #hysterscopy due to #pain, she CAN NIT consent to it continuing! So STOP, rearrange for another day with adequate pain relief!
