i also spent like half an hour making a fun little layout for my bsky only to remember i’m a freak of nature and one of four ppl that use light mode so it probably looks like butt. oh well 💔

i get rly feral abt zenos bc he’s like the only wolship i really feel strongly about…… in every fandom i join i’m a very npc x npc (and equivalent) guy so they mean a whole whole lot to me.

they teach him how to endure and tolerate living. and in his own way he does find fulfillment in the day-to-day even if the void is never fully patched up.

but i like him all the more for it because i think he finds the one person in the universe that will accept him despite the fact that he can’t be fixed. n’akupo doesn’t view him as lesser or broken. he’s just him. he’s them. they’re the same. and that’s okay

and on n’akupo’s end they’ll never ever admit it but they’d probably genuinely die without him around because he’s left that same hollow yearning in their heart for a true equal. everyone Knows It but nobody talks about it. it’s kinda awful but they can’t/don’t want to live without the other.

i don’t like the idea of him being woobified into normal okay guy bc i just genuinely don’t think he’s capable of it. but i think he could at least fine some manner of fulfillment following n’akupo around. the flame he saw in them has dimmed but only because it’s being shared w him now.

but not in like a resigned/defeated way just like. complacent. they don’t fix him bc he’s not fixable. but they teach him life can at least be BEARABLE with good company. literally anything is better than how it used to be for him. it’s Good Enough it’s as good as it’ll get. he’s Fine with it.

genuinely i do think they have a mutual understanding like “you are not allowed to just wander wherever you want on the planet i don’t trust u and i WILL hunt u down and kill u” and he’s just like :/ fine. bc what other choice does he really have after he’s gotten his ass beat like 80 times
