Quietly not being there I don't think does it either, but not being there and competing with it, in an environment you can control, might be something.
But either way it's hard to get the narrative of protest, and not "cowardly didn't show"... so, "don't be there" is just how I feel at this point.

My honest opinion? not be there... When far right shouts at state of the union, it's standing up for their beliefs, if the left does, it'll be "whining". Just leave, there's no real action to take there, hold a press conference outside of congress, stream on social media, anything but sit there.
