Linux economy lets you do anything you want. Thousands of real humans have carefully designed the economy in a decentralized manner

Corpo OS economies on other hand are designed by corpos for corpo profit purposes not user welfare.

We have to help with everything because people do not listen to us when we tell them to read the fucking manual. People do prefer to rely on a real human instead of searching the smallest little thing. I always try to make people solve their own problems and understand things.

You can actually do it but you don't really want to install programs on random locations, You can always symlink them as you need. Its a carefully designed principal of unix-like systems not a restriction.

I remember how they lied about switching to snap firefox will make everything faster. Snaps were terrible experience, switching to arch 2 years ago was my best decision ever.
