I did try “ringing” the Addmaster 01 Hotline number – but strangely no one answered. So I repaired and restored this vintage 1972 Addmaster calculator myself. It uses an early gas discharge “Panaplex” orange display. #VintageElectronics #VintageCalculator #Panaplex

Did I watch the FCukup this weekend? Of course not! Instead, being an uber-geek I built this Z80-MBC2 board and revisited the groovy 70s computing era. Definitely a nostalgic trip down computer memory lane.

Just repaired and restored this 1973 Sinclair Cambridge Type-2 vintage calculator. It uses a TMS0801NC calculator chip by Texas Instruments which requires -10V and -15V supplies since it is a PMOS device.

Forget #ChatGPT and Python! Back in 1993 we used C++, 5¼ floppy disks, and a lot of blood, sweat & tears to train a neural network. https://www.i4cy.com/xor_nn/ https://www.i4cy.com/xor_nn/

Finally go around to having a go programming this smart TTGO T-Watch using PlatformIO and C++. My code does nothing fancy, just a simple watch designed to prolong battery power and synchronised using an NTP server.

I am using LTspice a free tool, to generate a Bode plot showing the frequency response of a circuit under development. The circuit contains an amplifier and anti-aliasing filter to condition an audio signal prior to digitization by an ADC.

Pi or π is defined as being the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. This ratio when expressed in any numerical base (radix) is an irrational number, this means the sequence of numbers generated does not ever repeat or terminate. http://www.i4cy.co
