To eliminate #Oral health inequalities, we must transform the places where people live, learn, work, and age, not only change individual behaviours.

It’s time to go beyond brushing and flossing, and address the deeper structural and environmental roots of #oral health inequalities.

The evidence is global and consistent. Multiple studies from around the world reveal how place and context drive inequalities in oral diseases, across children and adults, high-income and low-income settings, and urban and rural neighbourhoods.

These inequalities persist across time, populations, and health systems, driven by structural, environmental, and commercial determinants.
