Perhaps because they’ve got a dedicated (and quality) DoF and a team behind that part of the business. Which also means they get gouged less.

I thought a £45 million bid 6 weeks ago would have been cheeky. North of £55m could possibly get it done now.
Plenty of upside as he adds value in areas where we are lacking and a good attitude.
Wolves well within their rights to say no though.

True - Although 10-15 goals, few assists, puts in a shift, plenty of experience. Fair bit of upside.
